Finley? Any reason to keep secret?
Any point in not snitching his sleeping spot to complete the 2 quests or at least the kessla quest? I followed her inside and get fought me and I beat him up. I already learned prospecting from him.

Absolutely not. Find his hideout. Ask for his silver to keep silent. Then beat him up, take his stuff and rat his hideout out to the two other npcs. Best time in the game. Also if you do that, check out the extra two beds in his hideout! Devs meant for you to screw him over!.
