Healing and food recipes
I am running low on ingredients for the early healing recipes - specifically regular healing plants and earthroots. I have dozens of large healing plants because I have no recipes that use them. Are there recipes that use these? I am just starting chapter 3 and haven't seen any healing recipes for them. I've been avoiding using them raw but if there is no reason to save them, I'll go ahead and use them. Similarly, I have way more juicy meat these days than stringy meat but I don't have a good food recipe that uses them aside from just frying it. I've been avoiding that assuming there are better recipes to come. It's a little annoying that I cant just use juicy meat instead of stringy in the same combination to produce better food (similarly large healing plants for ointment). Are they coming? Will it be the same vendors getting better recipes down the line, or will I encounter new vendors that have better stuff? Or do they come from quests? Or have I missed them and need to go back and investigate all the previous vendors again? For healing I do have the redshroom tincture and dark brew so I have things I can make but for food, I don't have any ingredients other than for the fried juicy meat unless I spend some time fishing, and I seem to have poor skills for that mini-game so I don't enjoy it.

Check the vendors who are cooks or herbalists. I'd suggest the guy at the Refuge camp who stands by the fire, He sells the dark brew recipe which uses mushrooms for a fast HoT, and an instant healing potion recipe iirc. Combine those with food recipes from your faction and you shouldn't be running out of materials unless you lose 90% of your hp every encounter

I don't think I've encountered the refuge camp. Is that somewhere I should have been by the start of chapter 3? Maybe I just don't know it by that name. I have other healing recipes so I'm not running out of healing. I'm just wondering if there will be a recipe for the large healing plants I've been collecting or if I should just use them raw or sell them. And something soon to use the juicy meat, or if I should just be frying it all. The food is the bigger issue as I only have fish recipes and stringy meat recipes.

The large healing plants are used for healing potions or the potent healing potions if I'm not mistaken but you need to buy the recipes...i used up all of those herbs in the beginning of the game..lol but i hv dark brews..so, it's all good..but it's weird you lack ingredients bcoz the first 2 chapters..i hv tons of ingredients to make potions but then again i spent the 1st chapter exploring all over the map..until the red moor area..i even got to the knoll forest area by accident.. it's so easy to get to places..lmfao..so much freedom..by chp2 and so forth..i pretty much explore 90 percent of the area..

It's the camp in the forest primeval with the Bonded. Which faction did you choose? If you went Nemeton you should have received a Farmer's Stew recipe which is really good because it boosts movement, and Durja in Nemeton proper sells fish dishes that heal a lot in exchange for lacking buffs
