I can not insert the sword in the statue in the forest ruins

Hello,

seems like this is a bug. I insert every item into the statues but after i insert the sword nothing happens and i can still interact with the statue but it does not accept any sword. Seems like a bug?

It seems that i have no safe left before the point where i have not inserted any item in the statues yet....

Normally any random sword should work, are you sure you're at the right shrine? A sword belongs in the shrine a little east of the ruin camp.

I am later in the game where i have to insert the same items again in a large room with all statues (i believe this is chapter 4).

Ah ok, only one specific sword works there. Unfortunately I can't tell you what it's called off the top of my head. But it is a quest item. And you should find one of these in the temple.

Hmm i already tried every sword that i found in the temple. It´s weird because after i insert a sword there comes the same sound as in the other statues when it was the right item. But after that nothing happens and every other sword i insert changes nothing....seems like a bug to me

Ok i got it now. You were right. It was one specific sword (that you can´t equip). But it was still confusing though because of the matching sound when i inserted another sword.

It's called the Ceremonial Sword and is a sales item, not a weapon. Also check whether you have automatically marked all sales items as trash.
