Report a translation problem
I would not like to answer directly: after all, this will destroy your own plot, which was born in your head. But I will set a couple of lines of thought.
It is possible that when the protagonist was a little boy, he lived in the village and had a dog, which was killed by local hooligans by throwing the dog into a well.
Perhaps it was happening to someone else. The protagonist writes in his first report that there must be five people at the station. But we meet four. And in total there are 6 "human" characters in the game ... What could this mean?
As for the cycles, they have a specific purpose. And they repeat over and over again until that goal is achieved.
Thanks that helped me alot. :D
