*SPOILERS* I can't help but feel sorry for-

Carla

I never thought that Carla could go down this path after everything she had been through since ED1 and ED2. In ED1, she was introduced when Riel joined the Warrior's Guild and she was the Commanding Officer/leader of that guild. Compared to the Ranger and Mage guilds, she has a lot of tasks given to Riel about the dangers of the land they're in and what to do to stop the evil that had plagued the world of ED that was plagued by the Four Elder Fiends.

In ED2, before and after Grarok's summon by Kwanpiz, she, Bianca, and the rest of the group, which is mixed with other guilds, were stationed in the desert to investigate what has happened with the dead wreaking havoc ever since Grarok's arrival. I thought she did well as a leader.

Now with more backstories going on with her and her sister, Bianca had to take charge of the guild in Phillia now that Carla has turned against them after her sister's death. I can't help but feel that the developers created a tragic character out of an NPC who was there for the Player, either Riel or the heroines of ED2. And the thought of her going evil and pledged her allegiance to Grarok was a change of character that I did not expect in ED.

Sure it's pretty strange to have pity on a character of a game that is known for it's Ryona content. But after playing ED1 and ED2, I can't help but feel like I'd get that out of my chest because her change was a big surprise to me.

I feel sorry for her but I don't feel sorry at all for Garok. Dude did everything wrong and the secret ending to ED2 is basically retconned by this version of Garok.

Yeah Garok absolutely sucked in ED3, him being just a misunderstood but also 100% stupid as hell isekai otaku was such a funny out of nowhere twist in ED2.

I agree!

The song that was played for her fits well for a tragic sister. I really like the song choices in this game as it does symbolize the "coming to an end" feel to it. An extinction of humankind that is drawing near.

Did you know that ED3 Protagonist was supposed to be Bonnie? If you didn't, i did find in files that the protagonist actual name was supposed to be Bonnie, but Griever decided to pick Kisara instead. Which is how Bonnie did not appear in ED3

I remember that! A year or two ago, there was someone who theorizes that the next character for ED3 is Bonnie. I thought that would've been the case during development. Some updates later, the theory was debunked because Griever decided to do a create-your-own-character for the players to customize their character in any way they want. Although I like the idea of creating your own character for ED, it's too bad that Bonnie was scrapped because she was one of the characters that appeared in both ED1 with Carla and Bianca in the Warrior's Guild and ED2 after she was saved by the heroines in the Goblin territory.

Kinda a good decision since playing all 8 Classes with the same Character would have been boring or even worse, we would not even have Classes and it would be like ED1.

Well actually it was me making that theory ^^ I did include there will be character customization tho

is Carla the one from the letters after you finished the main game? if so yes I agree. for funsies I didn't do anything and I just let her cut me. at that point humanity isn't worth fighting for. but really I was just hoping for a different cutscene or ending
