Is the game linear in nature?
I spoiled myself by watching someone else play it online, and while I want to share the experience with some friends I feel like having knowledge of the game will diminish the experience some for me, or otherwise be me shepherding some people through a game I know the twists of.

I know there's some stuff that comes up to haunt you later (based on Alpharad's playthrough) but are the broad strokes of the game still the same? More particularly, the chapters themselves. Will I just be some know-it-all trying to not steer people's opinions? I don't want to do that to them, either.

Also, in the interest of not overly souring the mood, fairly reasonably triggering people involved? Is the chapter regarding the topic of abortion mandatory, or otherwise skippable? I realize the point of it is how emotionally uncomfortable it is, but I worry for my friends. No, I'm not justifying my own apprehensions and realize I might be shying away from something that is part of the feelbad experience.

tl;dr do we really have choices? haha

Trolley Problem is a series of thought experiments in ethics. There is no right or wrong choice/answer.

Right and wrong wasn't what I was asking about, I was just hoping I'd have a different experience (or specifically, more questions or narrative branches) than the one I watched on the assumption we'd make different choices.
