Does this game have a lot of woke elements?

The game looks pretty good and it's Steamdeck verified but folks have mentioned it has some woke elements? I just want to play a regular video game without identity politics so asking here if that stuff is part of the core of the game. Thanks

But it's like I said in post #17, if there was a flag in the game for something "the other side" didn't agree with, like a Trump flag, it's likely there would be an uproar.

But of course, nobody wants to think about that.

I think I can define "woke" to the satisfaction of all, and answer the original question.

My definition of WOKE is the Sermon On the Mount, particularly one part:

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

If this phrase upsets you, then this game will also upset you.

MC has two dads. Which is fine by me. I doubt anyone in 21st century has anything against gay people.

Saw several rainbow flags, which is propaganda of a political movement, not good. I think it has no place in a videogame. This instantly puts "two dads" in a bad light too, since they're together not because of love, but because of dev's agenda.

They refer to a character by "they/them" which is also unnatural and butchers the language. It's the very start of a "compelled speech / numerous genders" rabbit hole.

So yeah, the game is woke. One day they'll learn how to naturally incorporate real gays into media, but for now they're aggressively shoving this nonsence into their otherwise good work, making it look worse. IMO they should get rid of pronouns and flags, that's too much.
