Mining and harvesting boost question
So it says that multiple boosts do not stack, but is it only for a single unit?

If you have 4 units with mining boost do you get more rewards than if you just had one?

Also while I am at it, does looter skill affects mining and harvesting?

No, if a stack has 1 unit with the boost or 4 units, you get the same amount of resources. But multiple gatherers reduces the gathering time by 1 turn each.

As for the looter skill, I believe it does not affect gathering.

Guess I wasted some levels than :steamfacepalm:

I wouldn't say the levels are wasted. If you have a stack of workers they'll occasionally be attacked unless you clear the area around them. Having multiple workers with the mining/harvesting boost skill means that if you lose one, it doesn't impact the output of mining and harvesting for a while. On the other hand, you could have a large stack of workers roaming around and split them up to harvest multiple things in a single turn. For instance, if you have a stack of six with three that have the boost skills, you can split them off with a single assistant to harvest three nodes simultaneously and still get the bonus. Doing that also means you have a larger stack for protection while roaming the map looking for resources, I guess.

I have a confession to make, I was unable to avenge Sam :( this run...

When the snow leopards attacked...all 4 of them I made a decision to hide my peasants rather than to lose my human and dwarf 5 worker team :(.

Now that I think of it I probably should have mixed in human militia as guards since they cost nothing and if you level them you can give them research and get them to a respectable amount of hp...

So a human worker for harvest/mining boost and boats and a dwarf worker for same thing but with mountain guide. And the rest you tag along either militia because they cost nothing or dwarf warriors who can produce gold negating their upkeep. And you can easily give those soldier mining and farming glyphs. Not the sturdiest of groups, but they could take care of smaller to medium threats.

Just need an elf worker for forest guide now.

I mean, alternatively you could just mix an elf archer into the group for forest guide. You lose a melee unit, sure, but a ranged unit is always useful,

Also, yeah, the lack of elven units (beyond the archers and a handful of apprentices) feels off to me for some reason.
