I just want to make a mini-guide on how to get more pages. These are the ways i have found until now:


-Defeat enemy wizards - The wizards always give the same pages
-Search into shaper ruins - It can be rerolled i'll explain at the end
-Use the goblin hero to steal a page from an enemy wizard - can be rerolled
-Get Grave robbing on an apprentice. - can be rerolled

For the reroll you must save before you start the action and the reroll happens at the start of the turn. If you start the action in the same turn it will not reroll.
So to get a reroll you must save -> use the action and if you don;t like the loot -> load save -> pass a turn -> then try the action again.


Edit 1: there is also a graverobbing glyph for artificer.

A lot of the ways you could get pages don't anymore. Outside of what you mentioned several of the antagonist quests can reward pages for completion to their liking. The sevenkeeps quest line can give two mentalist pages as well.

Edit: the lady luck/well trigger I think still works but I haven't gotten it to trigger in any of the games I have played in the last 6 months.

The wish well only gave 1 spell not the entire page. Maybe i'll try and get that quest again and reroll it.

Also the sevenkeeps giving pages ??? I have never seen that. How do you get them ?

The main quest line. You have to side with the magistrate to get the second one now though.

Looking at the AdventureGraph (Campaigns/MainCampaign/Storylines/SevenkeepsCity/Books Of Lore ALL.asset), there are two nodes that grant a spellpage.

I believe the first path is where you retrieve the books, talk to the magistrate but refuse to give the books back. You then win a fight against the garrison and run away. This gives a Mentalism spellpage, I think.

The second way is to return all the books, amicably return them, and then get your reward. You'll have to choose to get a spellbook as a reward.

You're making me feel a bit crazy. I might have to load up the game again and check lol. Maybe I'm using the wrong name? It's the large central city that has the elven thieves and the library quest lines. It only gives mentalism pages so if you have those you probably get nothing.

I believe you 100%. It's just i always got a 1 spell not the full page. Sucks.

I just completed the game and typed 30 pages of spells in the listed ways. Two magicians did not give personal tasks, in the central city they managed to take exactly one page from the books and then betray the dwarves and get another one. Moreover, the second page is changing, as if in ruins. But, all the saves with 30 pages + 2 not full of demonology stopped loading :(
