That's where I can get unique souls for my Necromancer playthrough ... :D
EDIT : on a serious note, great job !
I don't know if it's lore-accurate, but it's cool anyway.
If it is accurate, I wonder if developers will include everything in it. Though, it's more likely that they will just allow to choose 1 continent of many instead of providing the whole planet to play on.
Yeah, this is my impression as well. What's up with that? I know the part about the Misty Coast. North of it is Alluvyan and even more north is Lyraine. West of it is indeed Westguard(think it produces New Purity in the game). And Sevenkeeps is also nearby. The relations as in lines are all correct, but it seems, idk, rotated(?) in the game. As you can see, Alluvyan should be EAST of Misty, NOT NORTH.
I suspect that they took a bit of liberty, did a bit of "Immortal Empires" when they translated the map to CoE.
not quite, the islands in the Tuscari sea in CoE aren't meant to be the lost isles.
I'm assuming you're making the connection due to the medusae, but keep in mind that those were already on Fiara at the time CoE takes places - they were brought over by Shar of the Isles who, at this point, was already in the circle. That's also one of the reasons why they are there defending the towers of the circle.
As for why the big map doesn't have lots of small islands in the Tuscari sea - the big map isn't as detailed and it doesn't show everything to the dot.
That being said, what Gorwe said is also true when it comes to CoE taking a bit of liberty with some location placements due to gameplay. They are all generally where they should be plus/minus a bit of an offset where it made sense for the game to play better.
It's as lore accurate as we could pin-point the locations through a mix of official maps, place descriptions and consulting from the original author. Despite this, some places might not be on the dot precise, but instead just in the general area where the location is supposed to be.
