It's not on the 4th death page.
That's why I made this thread. I've done basically everything in the game but find this T4 unit. Hopefully someone has
This one and the spider demon one are not available by normal means. The flesh colossus actually levels unlike the other t4s which further proves that it's not intended for player use.
It definitely can't be enslaved as it is undead and undead have immunity to mind control.
Also, the fact that they level up while the other titans don't is not necessarily proof that they're intended to be NPC-only. There's quite a few summons in the game, aka non-levelable fantastical units, that you can regularly recruit in certain spots on the map and level-up normally. Like the phantom warriors.
There are a few things in the game that you can't normally access that have similar properties.
I didn't know the recruited phantasmal warriors could level. I'll have to look into that.
You claim it's not intended for players but that isn't necessarily true. Just because most of us haven't found how to access it doesn't mean it's inaccessible. People are still figuring things out about the game and the devs are intentionally not spoiling things. That's why it took about two weeks for people to figure out all of the spells and titans and the first week, people weren't even sure a 4th page existed (check the comment section of the spellbook guide on steam).
Like what? AFAIK every unit is attainable except for the undead and demon titans. It'd be really weird for every unit to be recruitable (not just via mind control or enslavement but through town or landmark recruitments) except for these two. There's probably some way to gain them that people haven't discovered yet. Likely through some event.
Edit: I could not find it. Would you mind linking?
Yeah it could be but at this point it's very unlikely. Most of the information I'm giving here I obtained by using the console. This is not intended for players and not recommended by the developer.
There are limitations to the console and it is possible that there are things that exist and I can't see but I doubt that is the case.
I don't know what you mean about the recruitment part. There is no way to recruit most of the demons without using mind control or slavery. I think some of the wyverns are the same but idk a lot about the beast stuff.
I can't give a lot of specifics without looking at the list. There are leftover units in there that don't show up in game but in some cases get used. There are not that many at completion level that are unused iirc.
For example, there are two other heroes listed but neither is intended to be used. One appears to be a prototype for the paladin girl that was scrapped. The other, while incomplete, is referenced in some random events currently in game.
It's just the nature of having to get the game out the door I imagine. If you want I can look very closely at all the events, quests, and units for you but I don't think it will yield anything of great interest.
The thread where I talked about the flesh colossos? It wouldn't be that strange - they'd be the odd ones out when 99% of all units are recruitable/usable.
And what is the console telling you? Because the console wouldn't tell you how things are done. You'd have to datamine for that. I somehow doubt the authenticity of this statement. Especially if you're going to claim it's not recommended by the developer - they've never said "don't use this unit." Sounds like a figment of your imagination.
You just described... scrapped data. Which EVERY game has and has had for decades. Just because there's stuff they didn't have time to complete doesn't mean stuff they've actually implemented is not complete. Nor does that indicate whether or not a certain unit is usable.
"If you want I can look very closely at all the events, quests, and units for you but I don't think it will yield anything of great interest." - Somehow I doubt you actually can. At this point, it sounds more like you're just pulling stuff out of your ass and saying stuff just to win some fictional argument in your head.
You clearly don't actually know, you won't admit you know, and sadly the modern internet is full of people who just want to say things to say things and pretend they're right instead of letting threads exist to generate (accurate and correct) information.
If you want to win this fictional argument, congratulations you win. You derailed this thread into nothing, just to pretend you know the game. I'm done talking with you - modern gamers are a mistake.
