necro makes T3 units, plus extra army slot, only necro gives army size of 8
its funny the best glyths i had, i found in drops not built myself
For instance, as default Alchemist I had hundreds of gold spamming free beasts and sacred water, as default Artificer I had income of -90 gold per turn and my best stack was moving 30 hexes per turn to fight as many fights as possible to earn gold and research from each, as default Necromancer I don't use any gold issues because my units have mana upkeep.
While necro suffers from issue of RNG to get healing effect for their troops
Glyphs aren't unique to artificers, it's just easier to get the ones you want.
As for comparisons, Necromancers are able to customize their units through the souls they use. Different souls give different abilities to the unit that is created. Using a Pure Vigorous Soul for example gives the unit defy death, This unit now has the same effect that corrupted vampire gives without taking up a glyph slot.
The necromancer gets a lot of custom souls from defeating quest leaders if you take the option which you should because it doesn't have a downside, these souls give massive bonuses to the unit when created and let you create the most powerful undead. While it's very difficult to unlock the necromancer final building due to the extreme rarity of pristine feral souls you can still create their best units without it.
Well you see artificers get additional glyth slot and you don't need to farm for specific soul. and I can customize the unit further without being at mercy of RNG gods to give me needed glyths
I would if they the alternative gameplay wasn't a gimped version of the artificers gameplay
It's like hardmode even if you play in hardmode =D
~There is a glyth for that too~ and it's not consumable and you don't need to manually use it all the time
It's not alchemy it's nature mage and one of the spell pages has the kennels which when upgraded gives all beasts the follower trait so no upkeep.
