Which class to play next?

My first play-through I went artificer and got steamrolled by Uram gor.
Second playthrough I went necromancer and steamrolled everything else with a haunted armor I made with Baron Meldecs soul, It was completely invulnerable and could take on an entire stack of T3 units because no one could hurt it faster than it could regen with its vampire glyph.

My question is should I try alchemist next, Or go and try artificer again? Which one is easier?

Artificer is probably considered the most accessible class. According to steam achievements, it is the most successful of the three types. Quality over quantity also fits quite well with this type of strategy game.

But I would suggest Alchemist just because you haven't played it yet. Alchemist probably has the biggest potential power jump, if you manage your resources well. For example, I beat a Circle Mage's tower by week 8 using just tier 1 units (+ apprentice), because I spammed 6 additional Fire Elementals in the final battle and let them soak/deal damage.

Ive just been playing Artificer. I wanna get it down and then try the harder settings/different locations rather than just balanced.
