I agree, this game is a masterpiece of SpellForce lore and worldbuilding and i would also love a proper SF1 and 2 remaster by the same devs!
Plus soo soo tired of remasters and remakes (which are also too often called remasters). Especially with how often many are bad.
(I am surprised the dev said SP3 since I thought it was a finished game. So I guess technically THQ could have diverted funds from SF4 since that wasn't said. Hopefully a dev can clarify this. I take it no funds were taken from the SF3 developer team.)
So anyone who is saying they rather have SF4 or a remake, this hasn't stopped it from being done. Maybe those developers don't want to make a remake. Maybe SF4 is being worked on but this developer can't say anything since they have nothing to do with the project.
This is not a Bethesda buying the rights to Fallout and turning it into a first/third person game instead of an isometric game. SF:CoE is a different game by a different studio but in the same universe. Nothing from what I have read from the developers say this was done instead of a regular SF game.
