basically you control the human by lying commands on a tile based floor like in Chu Chu Rocket, but you control the flow of the humans in real time like in lemmings, the commands are given on the tile the humans step, not on each human individual and you don't play a cursor but a dog as a player character sometimes controling the dog and humans in synch make up for puzzles.
so while it's similiar I would say it's quite different. The rules also can quite differ from level to level, sometimes your commands are limited, sometimes not, later on these start switch levels appear where you can no longer change the flow of the humans once the level start and maaaaany more surprises.
Absolutely it's not even that similiar to lemmings, that's just an label for the game.
I would say no, but I wish it was as well known as them.
There's no point being so reductionist about these sorts of things.
