Takeyasu-sensei said that the journey of Enoch and Lucifel should reach many people. My dream is to help you realize yours-!
Can someone give me a rundown of what there is of El Shaddai? I was only aware of the mobile game, which I know literally nothing about, and about the spin-off The Lost Child on PS4.
Yes! When you finish the game, you unlock a 148-page translated document with the story detailing the intended end of the game and a novelization (complete with illustrations) of the story of "Lucifel's Fall" from Lucifel's POV. Sawaki Takeyasu, the director and character designer of El Shaddai, wrote several novels including El Shaddai: Meta (detailing the world before the events of El Shaddai), El Shaddai: Ceta, which also comes in a manga form (detailing the events that brought Enoch to heaven prior to game, covering the events of the game, and also a further detailed version of "Lucifel's Fall"), and Heavenly7 which details the world after "Lucifel's Fall"! There's also an official manga called El Shaddai: Exodus that details Enoch in heaven witnessing the eventual fall of the Grigori. And then Lost Child is a spinoff which includes Lucifel and Michael and has ties to Heavenly7.
Basically, a WHOLE load of stuff is out there for the El Shaddai-verse, and unfortunately not much is translated to English save for the novel included in the game and a few volumes of the manga by fans (which you can look up on places like mangadex, just look for Exodus and Ceta). It would be so nice to have them translated to English sometime, because there's a lot to the story that isn't seen in game, and it would be lovely for fans to experience it.
