How to trigger quest for the huntress Karin?

She's not giving me any quest to do so I can raise her rapport.

She just left my brothers game, he couldnt get her affection high enough i guess. maybe she comes back but he asked if i could find anything on it and i cant

Generally all potential recruits follow the same principle. A quest that brings their rapport to half. Their rapport needs to be on the first level to be recruited. Which is only possible by gifting them rapport items

Karin returns at chapter 13 i believe and the second character that comes returns if missed on chapter 16. These are the only ones i have confirmed but i assume the others return aswell at some point.

Karin doesn't seem to have a "quest" per se though. She mentions wanting to hunt a chimera but you tell her that you already dealt with it. I've done that any gifted her two of her preferred gifts but she still won't join. Does a different quest come up or do I need to do something else to improve my rapport with her?

Is there something else I can do to recruit Karin then? In camp activities maybe?

OK, so I managed to recruit Karin by basically throwing gifts at her until she liked me enough to join. I picked gifts she either liked or gifts that were only liked by existing companions. Even still, I had to give her 4 gifts in total just to recruit her.

You need to get her to acquaintance, most of them actually

i got Karin at the end of chapter 7 and she's lvl9, does the level stay the same when you get her back in chapter 13? If her level scales i might as well wait until chapter 13 when i have the right gifts for her.
