I do that always with OP generals/monsters , until I am able to attack him with all my units at one turn.
But yes, I already feeling, that the battles are getting more and more unfair and cheaty with each battle.
I think I am around capter 22 ... already had 2 times that WTF feeling
I think I should take a lot of sharpshooters and templars (with sacred calling) along with assasins, also advise take battlemages onli - at least they have axes or other weapons to fight him
I actualy didnt feel difficulty for chapters 22-26 till this fight
I got int party :
overlord (with dark magic)
2 warloks with nights veil and 2 battlemages with aoe +2 healers
1 templar and 1 sharpshooter
the last role could be sorcerer or sharpshooter
But this isnt work for last mission... i think i will remove 1 healer and other will got blessing
also do I meantioned that bastar gt resistanse 75% to any damage? Yeah hes skill says 25% + protections but in reality your attacks wich yousualy do 30-46 damage do like.. 5-7 damage at best 10.. 10 is a top damage
Also i strongly recoment to train bow as a second weapon cause diagonal attacks

Otherwise he shouldn't be stronger than Eden , even that Generals have been stronger and after you defeated them, they have worn normal gear ... your chars with same level, same class AND EVEN better gear have been worse compared, that is terrible game design ...
same gear , class, level etc. SHOULD be always same power for AI and player ! /at normal settings)

Pay attention to what his abilities do. (the chains for eg)
Lure him out of fire with taunt abilities.
Use potions, lots of them.
Arrows. Shower him in arrows. Arrows are you best friend. He can't do ♥♥♥♥ against Sharpshooters.
Also, battlemages are your friends, since they can do solid damage without spells too. I had only one "full" wizard with me and only one "full" warlock and "full" priest. Everyone else was "combo classes", if you will, two battle mages, one templar.
1 firemark - bless do not remove
2 fire colum- fire mark explodes
3 fire colum split to cross up to 3 times
4 crags - explode for 30 damage
5 super attacks
6 aoe
7 vampire strike - use night veil - its better to be shot from loch arrow then hes axe
8 chains - use mages without spells to be baits for this spell
9 crags - explode for 30 damage
10 -super attack
So its crucial to keep him far away at step 7

Albrecht - sorserer =firestorm cyclone - torrential rain blizzard - storm strike + book of gorneys - (was completle usless last 6 turns but helped a lot at the start)

Also some note - make sure you use all firee spells and skill before reach last boss
+ take some poison poitions with you + haste + steght
bless i very helpfull cause this pank stunns and stuns a lot - and yeas archers are the best agains him (forget about rangers they suck only sharp shooters)
managed to do all fights until now at normal settings and never had to restart any of the battles ...
will change to easy and try it without changing my squad or how I played the game ...
had this worse exp. with that 40K Warhammer game, where you have been fu... , when you didn't do the last battle, how the guids told you ! Never finished that "da mn" game and will never buy any game from them
so to prevent this here also, I have to change to easy beforehand
healer:2-3(including one templar(or overlord eden(use spear or bow)),else are all bishops.2 of them need to cure the debuff,ensure all can move);
warlocks/battle mage with dark:2(most important part is rotten,you need to reduce balastar`s defense);
elemental/battlemage with element: 0-1(just for not-named enemy slay,fire spell banned,might not nesserary);
else:sharpshooters,with horse if possible(4 horses all need to be given),they are dps of the 10 raid.
spell amount limited means physical method better,just use range to reduce balastar's hp,in fact it is just a 5+ turn raid,dizziness cure by bishops,and bomb token need 1-2 shooters to kill
