Chapter 27 "boss fight" help
Trying to avoid spoilers, does anyone have any advice on how to kill the "boss" of this chapter before the turn limit?
I can get to them easily enough and rather quickly, with my units having almost all of their skills remaining and max health, plus potions. Between the boss's techniques, my damage output on them averaging 5hp per hit with any character(After their 2nd res), their health regen and regen techniques with their class however, I can't seem to kill them before the chapters turn limit. It's a slow slog of repetitive weak hits and healing.

I've replayed this numerous times now with various party compositions to test and see which class skills would give me an edge or open up a weakness to no avail. I was wondering if there are specific skills to use that would make this less insufferable?
Is there a trick to this that I'm missing perhaps?? Appreciate any help.

Same here. Boss's techniques are ridiculous and I can't even lower difficulty to help. Playing on normal with max lvl characters. Doing around 5hp per hit. But dude kept on reviving countless times especially around 50-60% mark.

Bows and Assassins won me the day here. He only regens 10 health per turn, one hit from an assassin should be able to go right through that like it's nothing. I had 2 sharpshooters, 1 Templar, 1 Dark Mage, 1 Overlord, 2 Battlemages, 1 Bishop. 2 Assassins. Mages be casting, Assassins be whacking, and I just had everyone else shooting bows lol. It worked well enough. I was having the Bishop heal up the assassins so they could consistently hit every turn. If 2 sharpies isn't enough, go for 4, or maybe 6. Enough arrows to the knee put him down.

Ive just tried doing this mission, you have to get very lucky with your earlier fights to even stand a chance and conserve spells for you casters. remove any fire spells. Even then the abilities and the regeneration are just difficult for the sake of being difficult, there is no other enemy in the game that can do anything remotely similar to the last fight, also doing minimal damage every single turn is ridiculous, Archers seem to be the go to option though towards the end.

All right finally was able to take him down using Viseralle's advice. Thank you!.

Used 4 sharpshooters, 1 vanguard, 1 berserker, 2 assassins, 1 overlord, 1 bishop. If you have 3 horses it helps a lot to catch up.

Try not to use up your healing spells too much and use recovery potions to heal while catching up. Don't go in with 3 bishops like me lol. My first fight attempt was horrible and didn't have enough dps to burst him down because I spent too much time healing than bursting down his health. If you have Eden as an Overlord getting him a light time can help heal your allies. Aside from that watch out for aoe and take shots where you can and you should manage it.

Sharpshooters and assassins worked! Thank you Viseralle. I only had 2 sharpshooters trained in my entire army apparently :s, but they were enough alongside 2 assassins. My God, was it so much easier. I clearly underestimated both of those classes throughout my playthrough. Cheers mate!

my archers only do 4-5 dmg...he then does a sovereign strike and gets back all his HP...this fight is nonsense. He gets all the powers, but Eden has nothing
