Should I master all classes?
When I played Fire Emblem Three Houses I would grind classes for each character. Should I do the same in this game? Does one class benefit from skills of others? Give me your tips

I don't think there's a reason to master everything, but each character does have 2 recommended classes (character>affinities). Mastering these will give you an ability that they can use for any class. Outside of that, if you did want to unlock certain classes/equipment you'll have to make use of the training facility.

Mages can't use melee/bows unless you get the to level 3 in training and Warrior/Archers can't use grimoires unless they also get level 3 in training for a magic type. Eden can also only spar once per chapter, which is the only way he can unlock grimoires/element magic for the Overlord class. Plan around it as it'll take awhile to unlock.

Progress does carry over to new game+ if you did want to unlock everything though.

All characters can switch to the commoner/noble tier 1 class and train with Grimoires or Weapons. So, since the side missions are easy, you can have one or two characters train in axes (Battle Mages) or grimoires (Templars/Overlord) during those. It tends to be a lot quicker than using the training ground (which takes around 9 sessions to get to rating 3). You might also want to train a couple of the mages with bows, since Linard and Gabriel have pretty good archery stats. I would still train them as Battle Mages, but Battle Mages can use bows.

It can also be a good idea to train different armors. Personally, I don't find plate very good, because sword users are offensively the weakest opponents, so I prefer leather (it also helps against the final boss). Bear in mind that some of the advanced classes have armor ranks as prerequisites.

There are some class abilities that you can unlock that I found useful. The diagonal attack with spear you get from Knight is really good. It pretty much eliminates counter attacks from sword and axe users. I also used fire arrows a lot early on, though less when I had maxed Sharpshooter. Another good one is the ability from Priest that makes enemies target you less, always a good choice for mages.

You might want to keep an eye on the affinities for different classes. They let characters learn a certain ability for maxing out a class. They tend to be 1/battle abilities, but a couple are useful, like some of the Warlocks get a Bind spell that's good.

I am grinding mage with everyone cuz red skill it gives, btw best I found is to do it with holy/light or what is name for healer book, so when you see you have battle under control use heals if you cant attack, even when there is noone who needs to heal cuz even when they are full hp it gives class xp
