At the moment I feel obliged to take 1 healer, 3 casters (warlock or elemental), 2 archers, two Knight/Vanguard and two Warrior/Berserker to ensure that I have all damage types readily available. (I also feel Sharpshooters far outclass Rangers because of the extra square of range and better damage abilities but thats a different issue).
Possibility of altering certain outcomes is also a given for me in New Game+, you could also storywise tie it into Levana's ability to see the future with her giving you a warning and opening up an alternative path. Also feel the rightful king of Benerio is way underused in the story just being there to throw some chaos into events with a failed powerplay.
Carry over the class progression.
Carry over the proficiencies (weapon/armor/horse).
But as a counterpart of carrying all this in a NG+,
make the ennemies harders since chapter 1.
In my sense that would go well with people choosing (or not) to play with turns.
As for a new game+, yes please! :) I think everyone agrees we would like rapport to carry over. This will allow us more unlocks in subsequent playthroughs and to know our roster better.
For me, a subsequent playthrough needs to be rewarding. I want some combination of higher difficulty, more "end game" equipment that can be carried over, experimenting with new classes (either actual new classes or new combinations), and new battles. Additional optional battles each chapter would be a great start. If those new battles were the result of rapport unlocks or character side stories, even better!
I think areas where you can leave the choices up to players are whether to carry over masteries/class progression, levels, gold, legendary items, and leadership. Personally, I prefer to keep almost everything and have the new game+ level up with me, similar to Triangle Strategy. I would definitely raise the level cap if you go that route, however.
Thank you for taking the time to see our opinions!
- lower the cost in leadership for interacting to people by 5 (15=> 10)
- Boost binding increase by +50% without item and by +100% with item
- Increase ++ red skill that can be equipped (because 5 is really too few) : 5 => 7 or 8) because in fact you unlock so much skill you can't use
- Make possible with good relationship to prevent some character to die in the story prevent death of Leon and Robin, like the way you can prevent the death of gilbert
- increase ennemy level by 10 or 20%
- add more chapter (at least 3) in order you can use legendary weapon unlocked at the end of the current chapter legendary axe from Balastar
- add more diversity in facultative fight and more facultative fight per chapter
- maybe a last chapter with possibility to fight as often you want
- maybe some new skills and equipment
+1
