The game only shows black screen
Hello there, I think I need some help here.
The game runs, but on the intro song it is stuck (except the music). I can press ENTER to skip it, but the screen turns completely black. The game actually still running as I hear sounds and able to navigate to new game by pressing ENTER. It is now showing some of the texts like the dialogue name but without the dialogue text itself.
Here's what the game looks like on my machine:

My specs: i3 5005u / 8GB RAM / intel HD 5500 integrated graphics
For reference, I can play Rune Factory 5 on low settings @30 FPS+ 720p with the same PC.

What I have done to try solving the issue (but with no avail):
-updating the graphics driver on the manufacturer website
-verifying integrity of game files
-disabling antivirus
-choosing high performance mode on power options

It's the same problem I have as well. Create another local windows account without any non-ASCII-letters in the name and try again.

The game fails to load the user settings properly due to not interpreting the file location because of said non-ASCII-letter. This bug is ancient. But the devs did implement it anyways, not having much experience with windows, I guess.

Hey! A bit late, but I was wondering if you know of a step-by-step tutorial. I'll keep looking around, was asking just in case. Also, thank you VERY much for this lead!
