Game is in Slow motion

No mattter what I do, (Turn vsync off, lower resolution, turn off hd textures, minimize the game, etc.) The game is running at 30 frames, but is incredibly slow. Like, half the speed. I double checked with the switch version just to make sure I wasn't crazy, and on the switch it's twice as fast. I even reverted back to windows 10 from 11, just to make sure that wasn't the problem.

So my question is, has anyone else encountered this issue? and possibly have a fix for it? I do not want to refund the game, but I'll have no choice if I don't figure something out, it is just unplayable right now.

Okay, so if anyone else had this issue and has nvidia drivers, I just went into the global settings and set my max frame rate from off - to like 120. and now it works just fine.

You probably should set max FPS to 60FPS for normal gameplay. The game speeds up or slows down cause it's somehow tied to the FPS. Also it's a neat speed exploit when it comes to special events where you'd want to slow things down to get high score for Turnip Festival. Do be sure to save and exit before and after setting the FPS though as it might cause crashes mid game, though I've yet to see it happen.
