Mods in the future?
Do you think the game will get some good mods in the near future?

I am aggressively awaiting the same sex marriage mod to be ported to this version.
It's a Japanese port game lol

I hope so!!

Probably. Some simple ones have a reasonable probability of happening soon.

Good news, mods from the switch version should be easy to port, as long as the files still exist/ are the same in both.

Extracting the files is quick, and many files are the same as the 3ds and Switch versions (such as dialogs and game data). I made a post about it in the Rune factory reddit.

Changing files is as easy as placing them inside the Bundle folder. I just submitted an old 3ds mod I made turned PC mod in NexusMods, just waiting for them to approve of the Rune Factory 4 game category.

I read some of your old documentation on the 3ds hacking, it seems you can add/change properties of items (including things like likes/dislikes, drops, recipes, upgrading, and crop yields), and a same-sex marriage mod kinda works (actually it's just the genderswap mod).

However, I have yet to hear of any way to adding new data, such as dialogue lines or flags (which is a component in making event mods, like what the oh-so-sought-after Venti mod would require). I recall on reddit that you mentioned that file size must be the same, and so could be the limiting factor. What needs to be done in order for this barrier to be bypassed?

There's already two mods on the Nexus.

I extracted the base game and the update from the Switch that I modded, plus the DLC (including preorder) The Preorder DLC was 300kb in it's .NSP format so I am guessing that on the Switch that DLC is located somewhere in the base game + update files. Still got finals so I'll see what I can do on that front within the next few weeks when I have time.

No clue if any who does mood will read this: I wish to ask for 3 mods

1: max lv for equipment upgrade to be increased (or a level reset would work as well? As long nothing else is affected)

2. Items that can be stacked in bag to be 99 or more (holding items to be still max 9 to avoid bugs and crashes)

3. And esthetics. Instead of having gold or stats staying "1569", it's easier to read if its "1,569". If your rich, it takes ages to count just how rich you are

Like what is easier, to tell if you have hundreds of millions or bilions if the numbers look like:

7368466235 vs 7,368,466,235
