Delivery requests not increasing difficulty?
I'm post-Arc 1 in mid-Summer of year 1, and I'm still just getting Medicinal Herbs for my 'Deliver Items' requests; am I supposed to level up villagers to make those requests harder and give more than cans and boots?

I think they stay like this regardless of what you do. But the rewards are random, you don't always get trash. You can see that if you keep reloading your save, you'll get different rewards.

That's weird, I swore I got requests for monster materials and stuff in the 3DS version.

Oh, I didn't mean you only get the delivery requests for medicinal herbs. I just meant that those requests will stay like this for the whole game as far as I know. They are always in the rotation. You will be getting different requests though, naturally. Delivering crops or fish for example, I don't remember monster parts.

BTW this is how it worked on the Switch where I am replaying the game right now. But I assume the PC port should behave exactly the same, unless something's bugged?

I know the "Ship/Deliver" requests are always there as a repeatable form of getting PP; I just thought the direct-delivery quests were more than just Medicinal Herbs.

They sometimes are more than medicinal herb quests. I find that characters will often request liked items. For example, Leon asked me to deliver a salted psn. rainbow trout or dylas will ask for a carrot delivery

Are those the individual requests you get by talking to people, or on the request board? It's entirely possible I'm just completely misremembering my time with the 3DS game.
