I cannot say more without spoilers.
Yes I played that on the switch and its just a human no dragon.
I dont really like any of the chosen female candidates on this game. Way to skinny and child like.
Its my only hope for the dream of many of us to become true.
The fact it even says in rf5 that this kinda of relationship happened and we cant do its just devs refusing to let us be what we want.
I know I know BUT MILF
I heard about that and Ya I agree. I think they know what we want and refuse to let us have it!
wait wha?!
fire emblem?? Dragons in fire emblem? or humans?
Technically both.
For those who didn't know, in Fire Emblem, the dragons were all dying off, so to save themselves they had to seal their powers away in dragonstones, and take on human forms.
Using their dragonstones, they can briefly return to their dragon forms to attack, but must quickly change back to human form afterwards, or risk going insane and feral.
And yes, in the series it's been shown that these dragons in human forms (called "Manaketes") are capable of interbreeding with humans.
-----
Of course, since they age so slowly, that even ones that are 1,000 years old, like Nowi and Tiki, still look like little girls.
(Granted, once she was over 3,000 years old, Tiki now resembles a grown woman around 20)
...So, yeah, people tend to cringe at Nowi being a romance option.
(Now adult Tiki on the other hand (with that adorable British accent)... no one's complained)
Which one do you mean, Ganesha or Rita?
(especially as both are mothers (albeit, Rita is one that's happily married))
------
I'd be impressed if one of these days, someone in this genre had the guts to allow the player to marry an older woman (especially a single mother or a widow).
Harvest Moon Story of Seasons, Rune Factory, Stardew Valley, My Time At Portia, Littlewood...
None of them have shown the nerve to offer that.
(Seriously, in Portia, why not the widowed Martha? Or Mira in Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. Or Ganesha in Rune Factory Frontier.
Or Manna in Harvest Moon 64 (there was never a mention of her having a husband, and Duke isn't married in this version), it looks possible that she's a single mother, likely widowed)
Ya that truly stinks. I have no interest in their human forms or the children like in games. I prefer plus size woman and tbh want to be with real dragons in the game. 4 leg 2 wings cause its a game. Plus how would the dragons in fire emblem go insane or feral? They got a brain and are intelligent. They just need the right person to accept and love their true form I think and make them feel safe.
Were they dying off due to human greed and murder? Starving due to food loss?
As I understand it (which is not easy, as a lot of the lore is in Japanese), in Fire Emblem, the dragons had two issues hitting them.
One was their fertility was rapidly declining, as they were having very few children born to them.
But the bigger issue was a natural environmental change (or some such) was causing the dragons' minds to degenerate, slowly driving them insane and feral.
They figured out they could stop it by assuming human forms and sealing their powers.
(Or in some cases of really strong ones, by giving up their physical bodies entirely)
In Marth and Chrom's games, Naga (the ruler of the dragons, viewed as a goddess) approved of the plan, and her and her tribe took on humans forms (including Naga's daughter, Tiki).
But a lot of the dragon tribes refused to assume human forms, stayed in dragon form, and in time went irreversibly insane and feral, becoming nothing more than mindless wild beasts.
(The "wyverns" mounts that human Dragon Knights ride on, are the also-mindless descendants of these feral Dragons)
-------
As for them and humans... um, it caused some issues.
Naga and her tribe figured that their kind's end has come, and so humanity would inherit the world.
(Kinda like Lord of the Rings)
But, after assuming human forms, some were persecuted by some bad humans over time. Which made one really strong Manakete turn evil and launched a genocide on all humanity.
Marth's ancestor killed that dragon (with a sword Naga forged from one of her fangs), and centuries later Marth himself had to fight the (newly resurrected) dragon.
Naga and her tribe like humans, and humans tend to revere them as gods/goddesses, but the two races have their issues.
They are getting better, though.
(Just for kicks, here's Tiki in her dragon form, in her victory screen. Like most Manaketes, she uses a dragonstone to change back into her dragon form to attack. Of course, here, this child dragon's transformation (reversion?) timed out quicker than she expected, in mid-roar.)
