Scrap items,

Is there option to scrap items that we don't use or need? We have so much space but still can't throw away items so it will not use storage space.

press i button during planning stage, drag and drop item outside of inventory box window. but why would you want to discard it? better selling it

It is better to sell and buy wood + firewood, and then plastic and possibly metal. You will have two traders quite quickly. In the camp and Micorize.
There will never be a lot of basic resources for construction and crafting, you will quickly find out why.
Unnecessary ‘outdated’ things or duplicates of equipment for sale.

Forget about trade, ok that helps but the problem is storage at the start of game.

Don´t forget to upgrade your storage, when you have researched the better versions. You don´t get additional space without upgrading it via the constructing menu.

I just sell original materials to free space to caravan travelling trader in Camp, this way you can buy them out later. Chem warehouse told me thanks, it was 4 upgrader warehouses(2 to lv2 and to to lvl 3) and they only can contain like 250+ items and there was like 600+ of chem items. So i sold some.
With the maximum Trade technology and trade acessory it may even give you additional income)
