Almost sounds like your game installation may be corrupt.
Hey! Thanks for your feedback — really sorry to hear you're having this kind of experience. 🙏
We test every patch extensively on our end, and in our internal and QA environments we didn’t run into this issue, so your case is super important to us.
Could you please send us the save file where this problem starts — especially the one where you can’t leave for an expedition?
You can use WeTransfer or any other file-sharing service that works best for you. Here’s where the save is located:
UserName\AppData\Local\STF\Saved\STFSavesV2
Also, as a quick step, please try verifying your game files via Steam:
Right-click on the game in your Steam Library → Properties → Installed Files → click “Verify integrity of game files…”
Thanks again for reporting this — we’ll do everything we can to fix it ASAP!
I'm having a few issues myself, but nothing that's breaking game flow.
After the recent update, my map is not longer lighting up as I explore to show where I've been, even though the map markers are still popping up as I discover them.
Tactics for your team seem to reset back to default melee even if you have them set to aggressive, use firearms, etc. You have to go back into tactics every time you load into an expedition map and click your options again, even if they're already selected. This also happens when you order a teammate to loot something. they'll keep their melee weapon out instead of reequipping their firearm.
Upgrading a bed removes the survivor assigned to it and locks them out of using that bed slot. I've had to constantly rotate my people to different beds until I discovered what the issue was.
Thankfully, I've not had any issues with saves and the issue with survivors getting stuck on stations and bunks leveled past 1 have been resolved. One thing I would like to see on the planning screen for the next day is our options saving from the previous night so we don't have to always manually set people to stay home, go on night watch, etc., every night any time we want to keep everyone home several days in a row to work on the base.
