Feeding the stray ever day?
Do you have to feed the cat every day? i fed her for 10 days straight but nothing happening except me losing all my money. Why is this action repeatable?

Was anyone else REALLY bugged by giving a cat CRACKERS???? CATS DONT EAT CRACKERS!

(unless it's a really fishy krill wafer)

Could be a genetically engineered cat gone feral. Specifically alterd to make them viable on long space voyages where specialised cat food is not available.

I fed it once, and had a dialogue tree, where I managed for the cat to come in, and it even rubbed against by leg before leaving.
I continued putting food in for many days, but only got neutral outcomes, and nothing ever happened. :(
Is there more to this cat then the one interaction?

My cat will eat a cracker and popcorn. He also bites into unattended avacados and fruit, probably because they feel good to bite.

I think It'll serve as a purpose. I feed my cat everyday and while scrolling to downtown everyday just to sleep in that apartment is tedious, I love doing it. Not only I built that myself, but I'm making the life of another being easier here on the ring. I'm perfectly fine with feeding it everyday and not having an end or another interaction with the cat. You will get some ways to earn money that you can pretty much neglect it. make shipminds as often as you can, you can sell them. hack data and sell those when you have leftover dice. growing mushrooms also benefit you soooo much, I can say it's a must for every one.

Although tbh, I would love to see some more attention on the stray on the third episode. Fingers crossed they deliver something, even a minor thing :D

Now that I think about it - there's sort of a plot hole for the cat and the apartment. If I remember correctly, in one of the quest steps to gain the apartment you have to gather scrap to vacuum proof it.
So if it's vacuum proofed - how does the cat get in?
Does it come from outside? But if you need to vacuum proof - there's a vacuum outside. Does the cat need no air?
Maybe it comes from inside? But that's also hard to figure out, since you're bound to have a door, and it's hard to imagine the ventilation shafts having no grates to stop the cat from going around.
Or maybe I'm remembering it wrong?

I never thought about that at all til now, maybe the space you work on was sealed off from the larger whole, exposed to vacuum and you seal it, then open it back up to the internal atmosphere?

You might only need to vacuum seal the roof and the walls are just connected to the rest of the protected ring?

I've been extremely pleased seeing the stray figure in the last DLC episode. Not sure if it matters if you've fed it a certain number of times.
