Unsure why I can't preform some actions?

I am playing this via gamepass, in case that is related.

I am running into actions I can't click to activate. I can put dice in them, even 6's and they just won't let me click start action.

I assume this has something to do with the tutorial saying "Some actions require a +1" but at first I thought that meant "You can't put a dice that would result in 0 or less when the bonuses listed at the side are applied" But even if it just mean "You need a +1 at least skill level to do this" I am left wondering what I am missing in the UI.

If it is just that, as the tutorial says, where is the indicator of what requires at least a +1 and what doesn't?

The indicator should be a very obvious red lock covering the action that says +1 on it. are you possibly putting the dice in on the wrong side? I did that a few times without realizing it.

I've had the same issue - seems to be a glitch, only affects some choices on the left? Quitting to the menu and reloading seems to fix it....temporarily.

Some actions like salvaging in the wastes beyond the greenway will have the big red lock unless your skill bonus is a minimum of +1, as without that your chance of failure would be higher than the game allows for.

I have exactly the same problem (Also on Gamepass). This is for actions which you CAN do. You can input the dice but the perform action button is unclickable and dosn't turn red. Reloading the game allows you to be able to perform the action but the issue can creep back in.

It's in consistent which actions will and wont be blocked by this and when.

It seems to be the option on the left side of the screen that does this but I'm not sure if that's always the case.

Indeed it is as others have described I can input dice but the button is unclickable, and indeed its actions that are not locked in red on the left side. I guess I'm just run into a bug I'm sure will get fixed

Saving the game and reloading fixed this for me.

It just happens if the game has been running for a while

there is a bug at times where having your tasks/quests list open won't let you roll dice - even if the dice is far from being obscured by the list

ive also had this bug. I circumvent it by using my controller to "press" the button and going back to kbm immediately after

I just bought the game on steam, in a window, using a mouse, and I can do one or two actions before I can't input dice. No way I'm going to reload every few minutes.

Please tell me there's a fix for this... I want to love it.
