Is Rust repair broken?

Since the last update, I haven't been able to complete any of the rust repair jobs. To me it seems that it's broken. So yesterday I did a test. I took a rust repair job and then proceeded to take all the paint off of the car. I got the whole car down to bare metal and it still showed the rust to be 4 starts. So I'm thinking its broken. I've deleted all of my saves because I wanted to see if there was corruption somewhere causing me issues, even though it was unlikely. Still no change. So I've started fresh and still can't complete any rust jobs. They are only going up to 4 star.
So My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Did rust repair break after the last update?

which car as the wolf has side skirts mostly rust hides under that or theres rust behind a panel

The Wolf, Bart, NIV, and the B200 also. I did remove the side skirting, bumpers and door panels also. Never found any rust. It's been every Rust job I've taken so far. But if I go to the junk yard or car dealer and buy a car, I can get 5 stars on rust. It only seems to be the jobs that cant get completed. I didn't have this issue before the update, which is why I was curious if others had this issue as well.

try removing the rocker panels, sometimes those bug out and dont clear the rust.

How do you all get to the rust in the very corners? I cannot seem to get an angle on some part and have to abandon. In a Lad, there is a little trickle of rust on the inside of the door bottom and i cannot get into the car and have it grind that line of spots.

Unfortunately best suggestion you can get is buy the sand blaster, it can get areas the grinder has troubles with.

Rust repairs are def. broken:
-Took a job for rust removal, Wolf Coupe
-removed all rust, but still only 4 stars
-replaced the part, which HAS HAD the most rust..even it was removed the FR door.
-re-assembled all parts to this new door and performed the paint-job
=all at 5 stars...door working fine...windows(not the OS) working fine...
Job status shows now; Missing parts :-/

Conclusion: The system does not recognize the new/replaced/rust-free part.

EDIT: SAVE/BACK-TO-DESKTOP/RELOAD didn't fix the issue, so job canceled and game ALT-F4'ed.
I am done for now...still....just too many bugs.

i had the same problem but it was with a junkyard car so what i did was i just cut parts off the body and welded new ones on until i got the bugged part off
