Car Value
I've not really looked into it much on my end, but is a cars value 100% based off the parts on it? Like if you pull off a damaged water pump that is worth 15 dollars, and put on a new one that's worth 30 dollars, have you only added 15 dollars value to your car?

If this is the case your car can only theoretically be worth a specific value and no more if you were to build it out of all brand new parts, it's not possible to get it worth any more apart from adding performance parts?

In my experience, it seems like new parts don't increase the value as much individually, or at all depending on the type, but will affect the overall condition at some point.
I made a test once by buying a 4 star condition vehicle at the used car dealer, and replace one worn piece at a time and checking the overall condition every time until it got 5 stars. It will get to five stars even with worn parts still in the car, like crossmember and some suspension parts. One day i might do another test by building a car with mostly worn parts to see how it compares but i got lazy haha
