"Not responding" when starting new game

Just bought the game, tried to start the game as is and I can't start a new game (it becomes unresponsive on loading screen after trying to start a new game.)
Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, still no change.
read about removing mods f100/f350 but i did not add any mods and my "Mods" folder is empty.

TY for the quick response.
Just managed to somehow start a new game, maybe by selecting and deselecting options on the menu. although i noticed that when a apply the "new map" from pause menu the game instantly stops responding same as if I choose "map extension" on the start new game in main menu

The map extension has been causing issues for a while yeah, but nobody has been able to point out why. You can however enable new map when your loading in and click esc, it works fine then

Map extension can be disabled because weaker computers cant even run it. but it is completely playable without it

I've tried it and the game immediately became unresponsive.

so it worked 2 times and now it doesn't again. trying with and without the map expansion, nothing works again.

my specs are not eye of the tiger but shouldn't cause issues:
intel i5 6500 3.20GHz
GTX 1070ti
16gb ram
64-bit windows 10

Im in that problem too, today i boght the game and if i start a new game, the game is stops and throw out to the steam

Ext map works good for me, I have 16gig ram, I7 and 6 gig video. if this helps.

ok everyone having this issue. join discord. because I need to see log and you cant send it here. so join discord. and we will resolve these issues. There is no point to discuss it here as it takes too long to get answers as this forum is checked maybe once a day
