Try supersampling and turn off AA in game, but the game runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I've been playing on 3080 and it's still kinda blurry with sampling but the game is pretty good once you get past the blurryiness. This is why we need PSVR2 with eye tracking.

use FAA instead of TAA and supersample a bit, helps not a lot, but improves the image slightly
I'm not sure where to look for, if it's even possible, but in this star wars pinball vr game there was the same issue after the release, blurry view, even on the in game highest settings...
Before any game update somebody came up with this trick:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1530770/discussions/0/3127164056421404815/
I tried it back then and the difference was huge, it was looking much better and sharper after doing that.
Perhaps somebody can figure out a similar trick for this game? idk, just guessing here, i noticed the blurry effect too but it wasn't too hard for me.

You can do the same. BW is working with Unreal Engine 4 so it works. Every UE4 game can this be applied. Sadly Pixel Densitiy and Resolutionscale doesn't work, BUT the game has ingame resolution slider.

You can find the ini in your user folder\appdata\local\BlairWitchVR\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

[ConsoleVariables]
r.PixelDensity=1.3
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1
r.TonemapperQuality=1
r.TonemapperFilm=0
r.MaxAnisotropy=16

have this in it, but as mentioned above I think pixel densitiy does nothing

Disabling AA completely might help also. I don't use AA at all but that's personal preferences.

Anyone know how to get a better LOD, that close up popping is terrible

Personally I gave up using lcd (Index) due to blur or too many jaggies, some colors and textures simply didn't look right.

The game looks like 10 times better using oled, where TAA looks totally sharp. So I've changed to good old Rift CV1 for this game. Using super sampling 2.0 (=SteamVR res 200%). Super sampling works with the Oculus version.

Turn off Antialiasing. Rise SteamVR SuperSampling for the game gradually = Profit

Wonder if they even read this forum... Well a week left until I get to my 14 day refund. If nothing happend regarding some more graphical improvements like better LOD, yes most likely a refund.

Thank you man. This worked great. It's almost crystal clear. Granted I have 150ss in steam and resolution scale maxed. Runs great and looks great. Turning off AA does help, I tried both on and off. I prefer it off, textures look sharper. Try this guys, it does work.

Sadly this didn't work for me and I am having the same issue.

Using a HTC Vive pro 2 paired with an RTX 3090 and able to max everything out. Without AA, I am able to easily get 150% SS to work but the game still looks like a blury mess.

Hopefully they fix it.

I haven't tried this yet, but i noticed this in the reviews on the store page, it gets many awards so it might be something effective:

I have enabled FSR in a few other VR games and it's a 50/50 for me. Some end up looking really bad. But, this isn't one i have tried so I will for sure try it and report back.

I changed the settings in GameUserSettings.ini into this:

[ScalabilityGroups] sg.ResolutionQuality=150.000000 sg.ViewDistanceQuality=3 sg.AntiAliasingQuality=0 sg.ShadowQuality=3 sg.PostProcessQuality=3 sg.TextureQuality=3 sg.EffectsQuality=3 sg.FoliageQuality=3 sg.ShadingQuality=3 [/script/engine.gameusersettings] bUseVSync=False bUseDynamicResolution=False ResolutionSizeX=3296 ResolutionSizeY=1776 LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=3296 LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1776 WindowPosX=-1 WindowPosY=-1 FullscreenMode=2 LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=2 PreferredFullscreenMode=1 Version=5 AudioQualityLevel=0 LastConfirmedAudioQualityLevel=0 FrameRateLimit=0.000000 DesiredScreenWidth=1280 bUseDesiredScreenHeight=False DesiredScreenHeight=1440 LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenWidth=1280 LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenHeight=1440 LastRecommendedScreenWidth=-1.000000 LastRecommendedScreenHeight=-1.000000 LastCPUBenchmarkResult=-1.000000 LastGPUBenchmarkResult=-1.000000 LastGPUBenchmarkMultiplier=1.000000 bUseHDRDisplayOutput=False HDRDisplayOutputNits=1000 [ShaderPipelineCache.CacheFile] LastOpened=Blairwitch

and it looks much nicer now. Im using Rift S.
