how to make tons of money without even trying

The game mechanics are a bit broken and you can work around them to make tons of money, given some time, but not much effort:

1. hire a writer, don't hire a director
2. keep writer writting scripts, but don't produce them, this will give you research points
3. once you unlock through research points "crew management" keep the writer training "mind", this will provide more research points
4. somewhere on the way go bankrupt, the big studio will take over and will pay you 10K each month even if you do nothing (actually it's 5K because this mechanic is also broken, still more than you would make on actually producing movies)
5. keep the "mind" training until you research "market control" (it will take around 12 research points to get there), then fire the writer
6. once you have enough money invest in other indie studios, this will generate the passive income each month (which makes no sense)
7. when your passive income from investments overpass the dotations from the owner gather 500K and buyout your studio, then you will keep 100% of the investment incomes
8. when you reach the 25% control over the indie market hire a director and produce 5 crappy short movies (you should have tons of unused scripts from the start of the game), just to meet the threshold to move from indie studio to mini-major
9. invest your money in mini-major studios, they will start to generate hundreds of thousands each month in passive income
10. do whatever you want with the money

Will you have fun doing it? Nope. But to be fair getting through the motions of producing 50 low-budget movies starring the same two people is not much fun either in the game.

Update: the game has as ending... you can't play any further. wow, I could not even use the streaming service feature :D
