Mod.io not Authenticated

I've looked everywhere and I've seen a handful of threads with a few esoteric ideas on how to fix it (like changing language to English) none of which worked. I have no idea what is wrong with it, I've restated about a hundred times and fully reinstalled the game and nothing changed. i cannot get the in game mod loader to open or function in any capacity and its driving me crazy

don't know how to help with the autheication issue,

but if you are looking into playing modded, a work around could be to directly download the mods from https://mod.io/g/sins2 and manually put them into Sins 2s mod folder.
That should allow you to work around and get to play with mods until your issue can be resolved.

no, i tried that it didnt work with other peoples mods

that should not be the case, even with no mid.io identification, even when playing offline, you should be able to activate and use mods, if you managed to download them in other ways (like the mod.io webiste, moddb or from the discord).

check the other tab in the modding rider (besides the mod.io tab).

If you struggle with this consider stopping by on the offical discord, where images, logs of even desktop streaming is easier to do and possibly easier to use to help with your issue.

i was able to install and activate them, it just didn't register them as being the same mods as my friend had and wouldn't connect. I did post logs in the discord, waiting on a dev to get back to me
