Are there any other ships that didn't make it in from Rebellion other than those listed?
How many unique ships can each faction actually produce in Sins 2?

As for missing ships, https://i.imgur.com/amExX2r.png these are the ships that TEC can build.
I thought the one that my mouse hovers over was basically the evolved version of the Kodiak, different name but similar design.
That said the rosters are reworked and what before might have been a frigate or cruiser is now the opposite. Illuminators and Javelis for example got promoted to cruiser role. The Solanus Adjudicator siege ship of the Advent has basically had it's role folded into the new Destra Crusader as the plasma spammer boat. The Defense Vessel is now a cruiser. The Cielo command cruiser is MIA, kodiak took growth pills and became the Harcka. The Junsurak Sentinel has been ... assimilated into the rest of the Vasari ships as now both their carrier and their primary frontline cruiser come with PD guns. Mine Layers are gone and the Severun and Stilakus classes have been replaced with a mobile factory ship that can produce frigates and corvettes anywhere it flies so you can reinforce on the fly. Vasari are also the only people to get two corvettes and have their corvettes be something other than light harassment units, as their corvettes now come in anti-strike-craft and phase missile roles.
That screen shot is the Harcka. It replaces the Kodiak in the "heavy" role. I quote because roles are quite as defined in Sins 2 as they were in Rebellion. It's a tanky short-ranged ship with moderately high pierce. The Vasari also have a similar new "heavy" that replaces the old one.
And yes. I do actually miss the old heavy cruisers.
It looks like an evolved version of the Kodiak, still very similar design and role to the old ship.
its not the kodiak
I just spent a little time jumping between wikis and the Kodiak is slightly squishier (at least in terms of how stats worked in Sins 1) with 1650 effective HP versus the Harcka at 1850. There's no split between armor and hull in Sins 1, and that's HP for the Harcka without shield upgrades. Weapons wise it's harder to tell because I believe the equation for damage has been changed since Armor and Hull are separated. But the Harcka does benefit from not having its guns stuck forward facing. I remember Kodiaks have to turn to face targets in order to shoot while the Harcka (while it does like facing its targets) can shoot while turning to engage. I think Harckas also have faster fire rate, but that might be just because I was Propagandizing all over the place last time I played TEC.
Price comparison: Kodiak sits at 670 (500 credits, 100 metal, 70 crystal). 60 build time.
Harcka is 765 (550 credits, 165 metal, 55 crystal). 24 Build time.
Personally, I love the new design. It looks like a "Imma get in your face and shoot holes into you until one of us is dead" kind of ship. Kodiaks felt like slinging a brick at someone while Harckas feel more like throwing an very angry dog.
the kodiak was replaced with an exact copy with a different name and a silly slightly racist unit voice over
Kodiak had a speed boost ability that the Harka lacks, but the Harka has four cannons.
And strongly disagree about any racial component to the voice overs. What an absolutely ridiculous comment.
