We honestly didn't expect this much interest in the map editor but we do have one called Solar Forge and its a lot more powerful than Galaxy Forge (the editor for Sins1).

The version on Github wasn't meant for broad public use yet so a lot of features are either undocumented or require editing the text files. It's also not easy to get the maps up and running. We will be fixing all these issues incrementally over time.

Why its it on Github? We will be releasing the source code so anyone who is interested can help us make it better. Github makes this a lot easier. We are considering including the latest clone from Github in the Epic/Steam installs but we haven't decided on the best way to do it yet.

What we can do right now is provide some instructions on how to get a new map made and into the game. Its not optimal and we will be streamlining it but it works. Thanks to Jamie for whipping this up on short notice.

The following link will take you to all the mod tools we've released so far along with some work-in-progress documentation. Follow the instructions to clone the data. Solar Forge will be part of this package.
