Unit Variety
In Sins Rebellion, we could play as rebel factions, each had some unique ships to them.
My question is, did the rebel faction mechanic and all the ships etc from Rebellion make it to Sins 2?

Each faction has their unique titan.
Additionally each faction has a set of unique planetary modules (a new mechanic)

6th capital ship from Rebellion were removed, as they were deemed not to fit in the style of Sins.

Some new frigates were added.

I miss the Corsev. It was fun having it's boarding operations trigger every now and then. I know the abilities from pirates replaces it but there was just something really funny and desperate about a giant cargo hauler turned into a boarding/repair/salvage ship.

A bit disappointed by the loss of the 6th capital ship for each faction. Feels like stripping out content. I loved Rebellion and am really trying to justify buying no.2 to myself, but I'm struggling to find much worth getting excited for other than the slightly improved graphics.
