Tutorial issue..

I am stuck in research 14/18 "Research garrison expansion and drag it to the front of the queue"

Well.. first of all there was not queue when it triggered, it was only this tech, so technically ti was already on first position.

If I trioed queue another tech and than drag garrison expansion to last and first position nothing happened.

I unapused the game, finished the research.. task is still not completed and I am stuck on it.

EDIT: also already beginning of this section is slightly confusing when instruction is select planet but the focus and highlight go on research button.

I think the game assume you still have the previous supply research under research and the pre-requeist for the garrison research.

Maybe try restarting the tutorial and see if that helps.

yeah, sure I did it on 2nd try, no problem. Yes it seems you need to have all 3 available for research and I somehow was too slow in progres sat first attempt (probably alt-tabed and first research was done or smth)

Though I would say tutorial should be done the way to evade such situations:p

Ran into this also. It is a little quirky. You need to be select the garrison expansion and move it to the front before the supply research completes (i think, at least that worked for me).

Still a issue. Player need to be faster here. Little quick time event ;)

Bumping this because I'm running into a different issue with this tutorial... when I try to research Garrison Expansion it tells me I'm missing the exotic resource the tech requires. Am I missing something obvious here?

Edit: Ended up working around this by using what I learned in a later tutorial to create an exotic refinery, but I assume that's not the intention here.

Was there an update to the cost of the technology? I cant get this tech because it costs irudium. But all the tutorials so far told me not to worry about exotics, because it will be covered in a later tutorial.
Is this tutorial broken? Or is it me? :o

They added iridium to the garrison cost but didn't update the tutorials. Also moved refinery up a tier in the civil research branch. You'll likely need to just make a refinery/colonize planets to find iridium.
