Dev Console?
I was wondering if the game still has the Dev Console/ability to spawn units to test stuff and/or mess about like in Sins 1 and Rebellion?

Hi Fyst,

I think the latest patch now allows you to launch the game with dev/debug exe when you select it in the launch options of the browser.

Documentation of its use is a bit sparse for now,
but using something like ctrl + shift + D should work during games and then F1 key should open a help/search window.

new plan, release a feature complete game, instead of giving us crap and trying to look like heroes by "listening to the community" when its stuff that should have already been here. Like it's literally a joke you're trying to hype up something that should be standard. What;s next, bringing in a mini map in 3 patches and charging 20 bucks? Give us a break.

Hi All

For those that do not know or do not understand.
*(I am using Steam version at time of writing)*

When launching game find arrow (pointing down) next to "Play" Button in Stardock Launcher and select "Use Dev Exe" [Turn On Dev Mode].

Then when in-game has started press ctrl + shift + D
Notice at bottom left of screen you will see "DEBUG INPUT MODE" pop-up.

Press F1 and search what option you want to enable.

....Alternatively.....
You can find some command Hot Keys (Key Binds) at the in-game menu.

>Escape Menu
>>Open Settings
>>>Key Binds
>>>>Debug
>>>>>Scroll down.

*These Key Binds only work when "DEBUG INPUT MODE" pop-up is active on screen.
*You can easily switch "DEBUG INPUT MODE" open-close at any time during game play as some other Key Binds is deactivated during "DEBUG INPUT MODE" pop-up. For instance 'your group selection'.
*If an {option} = true/false it will stay so even when "DEBUG INPUT MODE" pop-up is closed.

Hope it helps and have fun.
