Random map generation
Are you able to change map generation settings? I've tried to change how many stars there are and the number of planets but there doesn't seem to be an option for that. If I remember right you were able to do that for Sins 1 (or at least design your own maps), is this not possible in Sins 2?

There is a map creator tool available on GitHub for Sins 2.

Thank you, going to guess the settings for random map generation can't be changed tho. Bit of a shame.

Its way more powerful than the original map editor/generator as well.

Are we still able to directly edit map files with a txt editor? I don't have the game yet, so I can't check. Also, is there an in-game map maker like in sins 1, or will there be, or is Solar Forge capable of generating random and psuedo-random maps in a matter of clicks?

@Fyst How do we get custom logs to show up on the custom made maps? In the game, I can only see my one logo there, but when actually selecting the map, its comes up as a white background. its also like this is the map selection screen.

How do we fix this or get it to work???

Why not buy it out then. Im sure that who made it would appreciate a bit of income. and it wont be as pricy as your devs trying to remake it.

They already own it and released it for free?

This forum isn't in-game. Why don't they make an in-game forum accessible? You can take this kind of argument anywhere you like, and it's boring in all circumstances. Principally, the out-of-game system that is currently being used enables cross-platform mods and more oversight against abuse. It takes a few extra minutes of your life total to get to grips with the basics, and a couple of extra clicks whenever you want to access it. It's not that bad.

Im not playing the game now.. but if i wanna play the game i dont use 3rd party tools, no second monitor, no alt+tab.. I just want to launch the game and select what i want right then and there. Maybe im old school.

On the second monitor business I am 100% on your side.
