How to colonize new planets?

I can't colonize newly introduced planets like ice moon, volcanic moon, ice asteroid, etc. There's no new tech for them either. What gives?

that sounds like an issue that is commonly occuring with mods,
due to the mods being not up-to-date with te new version yet
and not accounting for the new planet typs.

Are you running mods and have you tried deisabeling them, to see if the issue presists without them?
