How temple of unity works?

i would like to know how this building work, from the text it say it increase the global power, but how? Should i build it everywhere?

I tend to skip the description which is mostly lore and go straight to the stats.

It just increases your "Unity" amount, which is used to unlock the Advent's spell-like global powers. You can access the menu for it at the top of the screen, between the market button and the exotics button.

There is no benefit to building more than you need to unlock every power, besides redundancy.
