TEC primacy (pirate mass)
I don’t understand how to kill a player through masses of pirates, at 23 minutes he has 800+ fleet, how to defeat this?

Hey, pirates are cost efficient but supply inefficient. So you should avoid fights, until you can match your enemy's supply. Also what faction are you playing as?

we play 3, and every time in a game my friend who plays for TEC fights easily 1 vs 2 since his fleet of pirates is always larger than the fleet of 2 opponents, they have 800, he has 900, 23+ minutes of play, moreover, he has practically no orbital structures, that is, falng attacks deal him about 0 damage

Not sure I understand. Pirates are practically invisible in this game, rarely even seen unless the player uses them or you attack their base. I miss their random raids, they were always a wild card in a match but in this game they are a non issue. How are they an issue?

TEC Primacy have a planetary item, which allows them to call in pirates to their aid

for 2500 credits you take a fleet with ctuisers and planet bombers
Its a primary Asteroid planetary upgrade that spawns 100pop every 6 mins for 2500 credits. It doesn't require pirates themselves to be on the map.

Its basically push button to create units...
Its actually pretty good, not sure I would say its OP.

The Cruisers are far better then TEC stock cruisers and have 400 durability and missiles.
So if you don't plan for fighting heavy ships you can suffer... and it does feel like TEC nerfed overall just to allow this strat.

EG
Akkan is objectively the worst capital ship for starting out of any capital ship of any race in game...
Unless you are going this strat.

I am guessing it is TEC Primacy with their special Planet Item(only available on Asteroids and Moons as far as I know) that lets them hire a bunch of pirates(100 supply) that you have full control of(can phase jump, receives most of your upgrades etc.), for 2500 Credits on a 6 minute cooldown(and you can do it on every planet with that item).

It can be quite strong(you get a mix of unit types, like planet bombers, PD, missiles and "tanks", without the need to research those ship types yourself), but it requires the player to have the right planet types to build the Planet Item, and be very focused to get the research quickly enough before they get attacked themselves(it is late tier 3 military research).
If the player only has 1 Asteroid available, it takes a long time to "mass" Pirates.

Pirate ships are decently tough and fast(they seem to have better Durability and/or Armour Strength than "standard" ships of their class), but a group will always have a mix of ships, which means their damage output varies a great deal, and none of them are particularly good against Capital Ships and Cruisers(Corsairs are ok, but you do only get a few per spawn). Their fleet point per ship is also slightly higher than standard.
The Corsair has missiles and is the best "combat vessel" of the Pirates, but I believe it is 17 fleet points per ship.

Pirate fleets have limited PD. The Rogue class ship has 2 PD guns with low DPS(even with several damage buffs, it will probably still be below 2 DPS per PD), which is ok against missiles, but has limited effectiveness against strikecraft.
Of course, the TEC Primacy player can support their Pirate Fleets with Sova Carriers to assist with PD and Strikecraft.

We played now, 50 minutes, the map is small, we are constantly fighting, the result is the fleet:
me: 557
my opponent: 179
my friend's opponent: 568
my friend TEC: 1520
is balanced?
we can’t produce a fleet that can penetrate 400 armor

but I don’t understand how to counter this when playing as VASARI, he shoots down missiles, my cruisers don’t penetrate as much, and by the time the cruisers arrive I’m already behind in the army x1.5-2

exactly , pirates are overpowered, you can kill other's homeworld with the first 3 spawn of asteroid pirate fleet , nobody and nothing can stop them to reach your homeworld so early in the game, they don't need factory, don't need metal or crystal either , only credit, no need building time , all your civil slots go to military tech 15 to rush titan if necesarry and gg easy

he talking about the TEC Pirate faction, not the minor race
