Once I went through whatever I had to begin with, maybe an account it's been just fine to get mods. When I have ran into that error after being set up to use Mod.io, I would just restart and generally it would be fine.
Thank you. I looked in there. Also no luck.
Do you still see this if you relax whatever heightened security protocols you employ?

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I do run some anti-spyware blockers and use a file cleaner, but I haven't set any permissions on widows security any higher than normal. I just double checked to see if my spyware blocker blocked anything with mod.io and it doesn't. I never had microsoft security or firewall give me a pop-up for it either which I would have allowed. It worked just fine until the last update. The mods I had installed kept causing errors but I 'skipped all' on those and it worked. It wasn't until I finished the modded game I was playing and went to change the mods I had that it wouldn't come up any more, which was just after the last patch. I deleted everything when uninstalling hoping that would help so I might not have any logs left, sorry. I'll check and post them if you give me a location though.
Very pleased to read it. You are most welcome.

I have a friend that has the same issue. We have not been able to find out how to fix it. Does anyone know how to.
Sorry friend, but the problem is back again. I didn't mess with any files, I didn't change anything outside of the game's user interface. It just decided not to work anymore, ...again.
Since last time I had subscribed to a good collection of mods with only one error to skip and played a full game like that. I then removed one mod and started a new game and finished that one. However when I came back to look at changing the mods, it just says "Not Authenticated...". I've since played another full game with the same mods but every time I check the modding tab its just Not Authenticated.
Could it be the special character in my screen name? I saw others mention mod.io didn't like that on it's website. It doesn't feel like I did anything to cause it I haven't changed anything I can think of.
Changed language to Eng.
Restarted game.
Fixed.
@MagnumPCI. This might be a fix.
Thanks for the tip. Not sure what you mean though. I don't see an in-game setting for language, I looked for a while. The settings file has "steam.last_known_language": "english" as a line do you mean he changed that to "steam.last_known_language": "Eng"??? Everything should already be set to English as default language. Thanks for your help.
But Steam has it, right click on game -> Properties (last point) -> General (first point).
It contains the option.
Might be fixed with todays update.
usually "not authificated..."
so sometimes im able to load some new mods from mod.io and apply.
today...after 2 weeks of this error, i just go to website, download, and manual pull to %localappdata%\sins2\mods and get success with new mod added.
i wish dev hear us and fix this integration from game
In game language change not affect work of mod.io integration
will see how stable this change
