it's not rocket science a good RTS mean a good AI for skirmish ^^
Already seems better than sins 1 AI.
Sins 1 AI could never actually take over planets. They would send huge fleets and then bail when they had effectively won the battle around the planet.
Super annoying as even on higher difficulties it was easily exploited by baiting them into defensive planets.
That alone is improving the economical performance of the AI for example.
