We're excited to announce the release date for Sins of a Solar Empire II is August 15th, 2024!

Sins of a Solar Empire II is available to Wishlist now. At launch, the base game edition will be offered at a special discount price of $39.99 for a limited time (Full Price: 49.99).

Additionally, the Sins of a Solar Empire II - Premium Edition will be available for a limited-time price of $79.99 and will include the base game, first Content Pass (4 DLC: 1 small, 1 medium, and 2 expansion level) and the Sins of a Solar Empire II soundtrack (Full Price 99.99). The mentioned prices are in USD.

What are you most looking forward to?

I loved Sins 1 for being not so fast paced. You can actually start a battle and managed some planets next to it; it also had some chill soundtracks. So I am looking forward to explore a galaxy to some soothing soundtrack, expand my economy and see planets growing (is it still possible to turn an ocean planet in some kind of tourist hotspot?), exploit those rare resources and well... extermination comes somewhat along the way (haven' played much pvp).

The price, Can you tell us that please? im pretty sure it will have some kind of sale. 10 to 20 percent maybe. but is it going to be a 50 dollar game or 40?

Inquiring minds would like to know!

As far as I know, that is the plan, that with steam release, the epic version is also supposed to be updated to the newest version.

Most looking forward to obliterating everything with the TEC, and mods, this game usually brings in some high quality mods.

I can't wait for this! I have nothing but good things to say about the original base, trinity, and rebellion. If I get to play around with another basic map editor then most looking forward to pirate raid survival as loyalist TEC, making massive trade routes from powerhouse planet starts and keeping the civilian ships alive as long as possible before being inevitably overwhelmed by pirates or overextending my fleets and find out my defenses got shattered by the AI I forgot were in the game too.

What are you most looking forward to?

I'm going to have to skip the game. I was hoping it would be a little cheaper, but the price is out of my pocket. I'll have to wait a year or more for the Steam sales, or if I want to try it now I'll have to resort to the good Samaritans who give away games.
