Report a translation problem
As the creator of E4X, I can tell you I'm looking at Sins 2 with great interest. However, I probably won't jump in with core gameplay/mechanics changes like E4X did right away. The base game will likely continue to change significantly after release with patches and hopefully DLC, so ideally the best ideas will be able to still make it into the core game at this stage.
Once things start to slow down I'm sure more gameplay mods like E4X will start to come out.
Excellent point, honestly for me I don't even look for mods in a brand new game unless I am trying to fix a content issue or bug and that will not be the case with this game. I am super looking forward to playing this game in its extra virgin glory!

If it is possible to modify the appearance and functional positions (e.g. weapon aiming, weapon mounts), it would be like opening up Sins of a Solar Empire II to competition from Stellaris, whose wealth of third-party moders of starships are surely moving towards the game and coming to create here.
I'm looking forward to Ironclad , Stardock expanding the Mod Kit, a combo feature that pulls in Stellaris's rich community of starship mod authors.
Can’t wait for a Stars Wars mod! Would love a decent Descent: Freespace and Homeworld mods.

Why would you think the game wouldn't have mod support based on that comment? The game has mod support.
I made that comment because I am previous team lead for Sins of the Prophets, the Halo mod they are asking about.
Nice seeing that one of the devs for this game and a previous team lead for sins of the prophets commenting on my post keep up the good work cant wait for the game to be out
