Ship Items take forever to build
Whenever I try to build a ship item, I get a +1000% Time Taken penalty to build an item because of "No Ship Item Builder In Gravity Well".
What the heck does this mean? How do I fix it? I've been sending my Capital Ships into every Gravity Well that I own but keep getting the same penalty. I tried googling it but there's almost no information about how this game works out there. Help plz.

you need to have a retrofit factory in the same system too build those items

Easiest to understand is the TEC which start with one in their gravity well.

For TEC there is the repair, or refit station I think it is called, that you start with that removes the penalty. Vasari factory has it built in, also have a cruiser that can tag along with the fleet.

If you have the viturak transport cabal you also have the option of spending one influence point to warp in one of the vasari's retrofit cruisers
